    POMEROY–The Port of Garfield County commissioners declined all bids received for the Northeast Garfield County optic fiber internet project, accepted a lease for a building, and discussed the Pataha fiber internet project at their meeting on December 6.     POMEROY–The Garfield County Hospital District Board of Commissioners has received a $40,000 Shepherd Foundation grant to be used to purchase a new van.     POMEROY-The Garfield County board of commissioners (BOCC) passed a levy shift, signed 2023 levy increase resolutions and signed a burn delegation letter at their meeting on December 12. The levy shift transfers $20,000 from the county road department to the general fund. It will help fund police patrols and duties relating to the roads.     POMEROY–The Pomeroy City Council passed its 2023 budget, a new employee pay schedule, and discussed permitting for a recreational vehicle at their meeting on December 6.
